The Brave Will Foundation invites you to join us at the 4th Annual Evening of Will Power on Saturday, April 27 at the National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs. Our theme this year is “Because of You” and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate all we have been able to accomplish because of the neverending support from all of you.
Our annual gala is the Brave Will Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year and last year, we raised over $40,000 at the gala. You can help us top that mark by joining us on April 27th and being part of something unique that is truly having an impact on children in the greater Capital Region. The money raised at the event is used to support our three goals:
- Financial support for the Journeys Program at Albany Medical Center: This program provides pediatric palliative care support for children with disease that greatly risks their chance of survival. This support also extends to family members. To date, the Brave Will Foundation has donated $75,000 to support the program.
- SOAR Program: In 2011, the foundation started the SOAR program (Steer Onward and Remember). The program provides funding for families on the first anniversary of a child’s passing. SOAR allows families to spend that anniversary day doing something memorable with the entire family in honor of their child.
- Inpatient Pediatric Hospice Facility at Albany Medical Center: The foundation has been working with Albany Medical Center administration to secure space in the children’s hospital for an inpatient pediatric hospice facility. The facility would allow families to spend time with a child during the final days at the hospital, but do so in an experience that is unlike any other that the hospital currently can provide.
The event will once again feature dancing, live music from 2096, casino games for chances to win amazing prize packages, unique raffle opportunities, open bar, and food catered by Panza’s Restaurant. In addition, the event will be again be designed and decorated by Experience Events, Styling and Design. We are thrilled to once again have the support and talents of so many amazing people as the gala continues to grow.
Tickets can be purchased starting today and are available until April 13th. Tickets are $100 per person if you purchase them by March 31st. Starting April 1st, the cost per ticket will be $125.
